A LATE Nick Proschwitz equaliser earned Barnsley a vital point in another fierce South Yorkshire derby.
The Reds took the lead against Championship relegation rivals Doncaster Rovers on Saturday through the Hull loanee, who finished cleverly in the 27th minute.
Two James Coppinger goals either side of the break put the hosts in front for most of the second half, before Proschwitz rescued Barnsley with a last-minute effort which saw the match end in a 2-2 draw.
The point - which means Barnsley remain second from bottom - was welcomed by boss Danny Wilson.
He said: "To keep going to the end, at this stage of the season and with the magnitude of the game, showed how much character this group has got.
"I thought if the game would have gone on any longer we would have won."
The next two weeks could prove to be pivotal in the Reds' quest to avoid relegation. Are you confident of survival? Next up is a trip to Wigan on Tuesday night.
