A DOG who has spent her entire life in kennels is hoping to find a new home.
Poppy, a one-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier cross, has spent most of her life being cared for by the Royston Animal Welfare group.
David Barr, from RAW, said: "She is strong and untrained so people have been put off by that, but she is a lovely dog.
"It usually takes around a month to rehome dogs, but Poppy has been here for a year now and we would love to see her with a new owner who is experienced in looking after dogs."
Royston Animal Welfare - whose members are all volunteers - rescued Poppy from a stray pound before she was about to be put to sleep.
