FLOOD warnings that were issued across parts of Barnsley after the continued heavy rainfall last night have been lifted.
Experts from the Environment Agency issued the warning about the flood risk posed by the Dearne river which runs through parts of Barnsley.
A spokesman said: "Washlands at Old Moor, Bolton Ings, Cudworth, Houghton, and Wombwell are expected to flood. If river levels rise further, Washlands at Adwick, and Dearne Mouth are expected to flood."
It was lifted this morning.
