A PENISTONE man has suffered serious facial injuries after his motorbike collided with a Land Rover on December 15.
The 28-year-old man was on a red motorbike heading from Manchester towards Penistone when the accident happened on Manchester Road, Millhouse Green at around 5.25pm.
The motorbike rider suffered serious facial injuries and a fractured skull in the collision. He was taken to Barnsley District General Hospital and detained.
The Land Rover driver, a 35-year-old local man, was not injured.
Anyone who witnessed the collision should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 808 of Thursday, 15 December.
