HEARTLESS thieves have broken into a Kendray community centre and stolen everything inside - including the radiators, a sandwich toaster, and paper and paints used by an arts group.
The burglary happened between Wednesday evening and the early hours of Thursday morning at the Cedar Crescent centre.
Police are appealing for information after the culprits took: 17 long tables, a pop up gazebo, a Wii and games, paints and paper, a flat screen TV, weighing scales, table tennis table, a bag of footballs (marked Dale Park Community Group), a sandwich toaster, a food processor, a copper pipe boiler and all the radiators.
Inspector Julie Mitchell said: "It really is despicable. It must be devestating for the community groups who use it. This must have taken some time to clear out, so we are hoping someone saw something that can help us find who did it."
Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or report it to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
