THREE bikes were stolen from Barnsley railway station in just one week.
The British Transport Police has released this image of a man they want to speak to.
The first bike was stolen on July 19 and had been secured to the cycle racks on platform one. On July 22, a second bike was stolen from the same location and third bike was taken on July 25 after being secured to a blue pole next to the cycle rack.
PC Matthew Peters said: "After studying CCTV at the station we have identified a man we believe may have information.
"Regrettably, the theft of cycles appears to be on the increase and rail stations, including Barnsley, are often a target due to the number of bikes being left by passengers for long periods of time.
"We're working closely with cycle and second-hand shops in the area and are monitoring online sites such as eBay and Gumtree to make it more difficult for thieves to sell on stolen property."
Information on the thefts can be relayed to 0800 405040 quoting B4 of August 2, 2013.
