TWO determined daughters are taking on a gruelling 24-hour walking challenge in memory of their mum.
Deborah and Amanda Holmes will tackle a 46-mile boundary walk around the Bradfield parish in Sheffield on June 22 and 23.
Their mum Peggy Holmes, died five years ago aged 73 and had lived in both Grimethorpe and South Hiendley.
Deborah, 51, and Amanda, 46, are inviting any of Peggy's friends and family in the Grimethorpe area to come along and join in on the day.
They will also be raising money for charity Diabetes UK as Amanda's oldest son, Oliver, 15, was diagnosed with diabetes last year.
