SOUTH Yorkshire Police are appealing for information after a car left the road on the A1M on May 20.
At around 4.45pm a red Vauxhall Astra driven by a 55-year-old man was travelling south on the motorway prior to junction 38, when he became unwell at the wheel.
The car exited on the slip road of junction 38 and the offside of it collided with the crash barrier.
The car reached the carriageway of the A638 where it came to rest.
The man suffered a suspected bleed on the brain and is being treated in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.
Police are asking for anyone who may have seen the Astra and the manner of driving of it, to please contact us on 101 quoting incident number 786 of 20 May.
