A CHARITY football match in memory of teenager who died from cancer has been rearranged.

Andrew French, 18, from Thurlstone, died of a brain tumour in November 2010.

His cousin, Stacy Dyson, organised two successful matches, one for men and one for women, in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust last year and has decided to follow it up with a similar event this year.

It will now take place on Saturday August 3 at Penistone Church FC, as opposed to the previously advertised date of Saturday May 4.

An auction and a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses, will take place and food will be available throughout the day, followed by a party in the evening.
