A BARNSLEY fundraiser is raising money for Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice by taking on the three peaks in the Yorkshire Dales this Friday.
Kirsty Smith, 33, from Wombwell, will be joined by her brother Adam and sister Carrie, who will all climb Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
Friends Jessica Taylor, Dave Taylor, Emma Morris and Nadine Heath will also be joining the siblings' fundraising quest.
Kirsty's also arranging collection tins to be given to the family of six-year-old Lilly Mae Skidmore. Lilly is Kirsty's friend Vicky's daughter who suffers with the rare Koolen syndrome.
Money in the collection tins has been raised by work sponsors and friends who wanted to help Lilly.
“Koolen syndrome affects Lilly in many different ways," said Vicky. "She has severe learning difficulties, epilepsy, worsening visual impairment and deteriorating mobility issues which at times cause her to be wheelchair bound."
"However, despite all this she really is the happiest, funniest and bravest little girl who makes us so proud every day," added Vicky.
