A CRIME scene investigator and a supermarket worker will use their passion for running to help children with cancer when they tackle the London Marathon together.

Husband and wife James and Lesley Bramall have already raised more than £2,200 for the cause.

James, 52, who is employed by South Yorkshire Police, will be taking on his first marathon, while Lesley, who works in Penistone Co-op, completed the race in 2011.

"It's an ambition to run it with James and cross the finish line together," she said.

"Every year I do the Race for Life with my best friend, who had cancer, and it would be nice to do something for kids with cancer."
