A CAT owner who is accused of neglecting her pets will appear at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court later this month.

Gemma Hewitt, of Washington Avenue, Wombwell, was charged following a probe by the RSPCA involving three flea-ridden cats.

The 41-year-old, whose initial hearing was held on Tuesday, did not attend court but will do so on January 30.
