A THREE-DAY beer festival in town saw hundreds turn up to try out some new beverages.
The Barnsley CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Beer Festival ran last Thursday to Saturday at St Peter and St John the Baptist Church on Doncaster road and included 29 beers of different types, strength and variety, six ciders and a gin and rum bar.
It’s the second time the event has been held here, and an expansion on last year’s event.
Hundreds of excited visitors flocked to the church over the three days, making it a packed-out celebration.
