A CARE home has been rated as ‘good’ following its latest Care Quality Commission inspection.
Belle Green Court, based on Belle Green Lane, Cudworth, cared for a total of 38 people – some of whom are living with dementia.
It was inspected by the CQC in May, with the report being published last week.
The report states: “There was a clear safeguarding policy with details of which agencies to contact in the event of any concern.
“People had risk management plans, which were kept under review and updated when needed.
“The service learnt from incidents and made improvements where needed.
“Staff had been recruited safely, and overall, there were sufficient, well-trained staff to meet people’s needs.
“However, throughout the assessment, staff were busy with care tasks.
“They had little opportunity to spend any meaningful time with people or ensure their safety.
“People were supported to safely take the medicines they had been prescribed.
“Staff worked with other services to ensure people’s needs were met effectively.”
