A BARNSLEY solicitor has qualified for the Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham in October.
Hannah Pedley, and her horse, Kilbrickens Princess have qualified through the SEIB Search for a Star series which offers opportunities for amateur riders to qualify for the championship finals at the Horse of the Year Show.
Hannah and Mabel, as the bay Irish Sports Horse is known, made the trip to Arena UK near Grantham for the qualifier on August 1.
They will now go on to compete under the bright lights of the HOYS Arena at the NEC in Birmingham in early October.
The pair competed in and won the Riding Horse Hack class under top judge Alan Mickleburgh to earn their HOYS qualification.
Hannah said: “Mabel felt great in the ring – it was like she knew she should really perform on the day.”
