BARNSLEY College students took part in a game show about sustainable travel this week.
More than 100 students attended interactive workshops over two days to look at ways they could make a difference to the environment through their travel choices.
Engineering student Matthew Stancill won top prize in the game - a pair of backstage passes to Sheffield’s Tramlines Festival in the summer.
“The workshop was different to learning about travel in a classroom,'' said Matthew. ''The questions were pretty easy but it got you thinking about things more.”
None of the students left the workshop empty handed - all of them receiving a week’s travel pass - enabling them to explore travel on all modes of transport in South Yorkshire.
The workshops took place at the college’s Think Low Carbon Centre and formed part of the activities for Go Green week.
