TWO men from Barnsley have appeared in court charged with drug trafficking offences.
It follows a major police operation in Barnsley and Sheffield last week where several properties were raided by police as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Paul Robinson, of Magnolia Close, Shafton and Richard Stead of Greenfoot Lane, Barnsley appeared before Rotherham Magistrate's Court at the weekend - charged with drug trafficking offences. They remain in custody.
Three more men were charged as part of the investigation and also appeared before Magistrates - Jake Arnold and Tristan Clarke from Sheffield and Frank Babar from Richmond, Surrey.
