BARNSLEY Library is looking for local people with an interesting story to tell to volunteer to be 'human' library books.

The Human Library takes place on October 10 and will feature local people talking about their life experiences with people who loan them out.

A spokesman said: "The books wanted for this year are people who might face discrimination or prejudice, for example because of their disability, sexual orientation, race or age. T

"Last year the volunteers loved being human books for a day and gained a lot from the experience."
