Wonderfully Made in Yorkshire 2017
Forty four local artists are preparing their unique products for the Wonderfully Made in Yorkshire event which takes place on the 10th and 11th of November in Silkstone Parish church.
Opening times are: 10am to 8pm on Friday & 10am to 6pm on Saturday.
Entrance is free and payments for goods may be made by cash or card.
A wide range of gifts will be available, all wonderful, unique handmade gifts, many made within a ten mile radius of Silkstone. Some of the artists participated in last year’s successful event but there are new people who will add to the variety of goods available.
Included will be glass art, paintings, prints, jewellery, toys, fabric products, pottery, leather goods, turned wood, organic soaps, greeting cards and clothing for toddlers. This is by no means a complete list but it does mean there will be lots of choice in time for your Christmas shopping (or that special gift for yourself).
The event takes place in the wonderful 12th century parish church at Silkstone, it presents an opportunity to see this beautiful building and enjoy the atmosphere in the run up to Christmas. Refreshments will be available.
The post code for the church is S75 4JH and Silkstone can be reached from the A628 or by buses 20, 21 or 21a, the nearest train station is at Silkstone Common.
