FOOTAGE of a fairground on Barnsley Market from over 45 years ago has been uncovered.

The film, from August 1965 was shown to the Chronicle by local musician and historian Dave Cherry, who was converting the footage for owners Cynthia and Tony Hindley, from Cawthorne.
