Barnsley To Join With Yorkshire For Possible Olympic Bid

Council leader Steve Houghton and Olympics committee chief Charles Allen were at Dearne ALC in Barnsley last week at a special event organised by the Barnsley Newham Partnership. It emerged that there's a possibility that Barnsley could join other towns to hold a Yorkshire Olympics in the run up to the 2012 games.
