Missing Man Appeal
Police in Barnsley are appealing for information regarding a missing man from the Barnsley town centre area.
Police in Barnsley are appealing for information regarding a missing man from the Barnsley town centre area.
Jason Smith, 30, was last seen on Eldon Street, Barnsley on 6 June.
He is described as 6”2”, medium build with a muscular frame. At the time of disappearance, he was wearing blue jeans, a black Harrington style jacket and blue lace-up boots.
There have been some unconfirmed sightings of Jason in the Cudworth and Barnsley town centre area.
He has friends and relatives in Cudworth but police enquiries to trace Mr Smith have been unsuccessful to date.
Jason is believed to be suffering from depression and due to the length of time he has been missing, police and his family are concerned for his safety and wellbeing.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to ring police on 0114 220 20 20 and ask for the Barnsley sergeant’s office on extension 736205.
