Bus Service Changes Announced

CHANGES to some of the bus services that run through Barnsley will come into effect this weekend.

On Friday, a number of Barnsley services will be withdrawn, including the 5 (Barnsley - Worsbrough); the 35 and 36 (Barnsley - South Elmsall / Pontefract); the 46 and 47 (Barnsley - Upton - Pontefract) and the 94 Barnsley - Wilthorpe.

Some new services will be offered in their place.

All Stagecoach are doing is changing the service numbers of the routes (IE the 35 now becomes the 28) - not withdrawing services

we could do with a bus straight to barnsley from low valley

The 33 from Wombwell to Grimethorpe as also changed to the 27 and changed the times, so now the shift who start work at oclock are either late for the shift or have to go an hour earlier :/ x
