Thursday July 12 2012
VOLUNTEERS are being recruited to help train the Barnsley police horses that will be working the Olympic Games in London.
The horses will be taking part in a noise and crowd control training exercise on July 20 at Ring Farm.
A spokesman said: "Everyone will be requested to help make some noise, wave flags and have the opportunity to meet the horses and officers afterwards.
"All equipment will be provided but any donations of flags, drums and loud items would be greatly appreciated."
Children are welcome but must be supervised. For more information contact Melissa Gill 07770 831527.
