Stagecoach Adds Smart Card To Replace Tickets
Monday July 9 2012
BUS operator Stagecoach has introduced a new ticketing scheme that will allow passengers to ditch paper tickets.
The scheme – which is operational on 150 Stagecoach buses across Barnsley and the Dearne Valley - allows passengers to store credit on an electronic card instead of using tickets.
It means that monthly passes will be able to be renewed automatically through direct debit, rather than having to be done manually.
