It is a great shame that this clashes with the last football match of the season. Surely the match could have started at 3pm? Then the football fans could watch the cycling, and cycling fans could watch the football.

I was going to go to the football to see Barnsley play for the first time, instead I shall be watching the cycling and proudly flying a Yorkshire and also a South Yorkshire flag.and if I can get one in time, also a Barnsley flag.

I'd have liked to be able to go to both cycling and football though!
