Police Name Motorcyclist Killed In Accident

POLICE have named a man who was killed in a road accident on the outskirts of Barnsley.

Father-of-three Michael Fieldhouse, 37, died on September 16 when his motorcycle was in collision with a tractor.

The accident happened on the A637 Huddersfield Road, near Haigh, at around 7.40pm.

Sgt Ann Drury, from West Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Enquiry Team, has appealed for witnesses to contact DC Noel Lowdon on 101.
