A NEW Tesco superstore opens in Barnsley next week.

The 28,000sq ft store on Market Street, Hoyland, opens to the public at 8am on September 18 after a £7.5 million build.

Permission for the store was granted in July 2011 and workers started clearing the site in February 2012, but then arguments over a pedestrian crossing on Wombwell Road caused delays.

The existing Tesco Express on West Street, Hoyland, will close when the new superstore opens.

Manager Matthew Pickthall said: "We wanted to ensure that we recruited the best team possible for our new store in Hoyland so we spent a lot of time working with the local community to fill the new roles."

How do you apply for a job ?

Is that a general question about how the job market works or a specific request to find out how to apply for these jobs?
If it's the former then - asking on WAB isn't how.
If it's the latter - asking on WAB still isn't how.
Tesco won't be checking on here to see whose asked, y'know?

People who have to ask how to apply for a job have by doing so revealed why they're unemployed in the first place...

You would be good at sweeping a factory floor @Dave with such a statement.

I'm an IT Manager @Sid but thanks for your concern.

I'm surprised you haven't got more HR knowledge then @Dave. Don't forget the dustpan.
