Man Cut From Car By Firefighters

A MAN had to be rescued from his car after it ended up on its roof.

The car was travelling along Gawber Road at about 2pm on Thursday when the incident happened.

Two fire engines and one ambulance attended the scene and the road was closed.

Eyewitnesses saw firefighters cutting away the boot of the car to get to the man.

He was carried off on a stretcher.

Maybe it would be alot easier to drive/ park on that street if people who worked or visited the hospital parked there

The accident was at the corner of Sackville Street, didn't see what actually occured there, but walked past it on my way to the bus station at 4:30. Hope the man recovers

Actually, seems there were two accidents involving fire engires lately, misread it as Tuesday, my mistake :p

There is a lot of people that do drive around without care for anyone else, speeding around like idiots but it is unfair to just automatically paint everyone with the same brush, as far as you know he could have been going at 25mph and had a mechanical fault or swerved to miss someone. People like yourselves should be ashamed that's someone's son, grandson possibly someone's partner or someone's dad. Try a little consideration !
