ASBO Woman Made Hundreds Of Hoax Calls

Friday March 30 2012

A ROYSTON woman was given an ASBO and an £85 fine for wasting police time after making hundreds of hoax calls.

The woman was given a suspended sentence at a hearing on Thursday (March 27) and the case prompted police to illustrate the importance of not making fake calls.

On her Facebook page, Inspector Julie Mitchell said: "We sometimes get the odd one or two pranks calls from young people, but this woman plagued the police and other emergency services with hundreds of calls for months.

"Every hoax call puts a genuine caller at risk and therefore should be dealt with firmly."

well i just hope that whoever she is is getting the help already that she clearly needs...its wrong what shes doing...but this should alert people that she should be getting treatment if she isn't already.
