RSPB Old Moor awarded RSPB Old Moor awarded

RSPB Old Moor has been awarded the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence for the second year running.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is only given to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding reviews on the travel website.

To qualify, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five stars, and must have been listed on the website for at least 12 months.

Matthew Capper, Old Moor's site manager, said it is a great achievement for the 250-acre reserve, which is visited by more than 105,000 people each year.

"It's absolutely fantastic that we've been able to maintain such a high standard of experience for our visitors," he said.

"We've had some wonderful comments from visitors, which reassures us that we're on the right path and delivering the right kind of activities.

"We work really hard to provide a great visitor experience and we're pleased to see our visitors agree that we do."

This place is a piece of heaven! Peace and tranquility on our doorstep. Its complimented by the wonderful staff, everyone is happy(I would be too working there)and polite. The little cafe is just lovely ,food very tasty, and nothing is too much trouble. I love it and go regularly, pond dipping is great, the girls that helped me and my grandsons made the hour fun, educational, and just special. Can't wait for Wind in the Willows, all the events have been fantastic. Can you tell I love the place, and I'm not even a twitcher. Glad its got recognition.

It's a great place love taking the dog on the trail walks and nipping round to the old moor inn for a pint or two
