BARNSLEY Football Club is the subject of yet another FA report after a smoke canister was let off at last Saturday's game against Yeovil.

It is the fifth time the club have found themselves in the situation this season.

Two months ago, the club banned five fans from attending matches until the end of next season after a similar occurrence at the South Yorkshire derby against Doncaster.

A club statement said: "The club would like to remind supporters that smoke canisters, flares and any other form of pyrotechnics are banned from stadia across the country."

I go to every match . There's no need for idiots and stupid behaviour that has nothing to do with the atmosphere these things are banned for a reason because they are dangerous and we are a club that can't afford to keep paying fines !!!

What fines?

They are banned for a reason, I had an asthma attack at the home match against shef wed because of the smoke and missed most of the match, thats not what I buy my season ticket for so a few idiots can ruin it for a lot of others

Should you delicate little flowers be attending football matches? Even in this health and safety mad era it seems too much for you. Try the opera or the library. I take it you weren't around in the 70's or 80's? Lets just say it wouldn't have been for you.
Sit down, shut up. and when the thought police come up with more rules follow them as well.
