We Are Barnsley Weather Updates

EXTREME weather conditions are expected to continue all weekend with continued rain and growing wind speeds predicted.

Barnsley Council has announced that all its football pitches will be closed again this weeked due to the continued rain and the fact that pitches are already waterlogged. 

CLOSURES

The parks at Worsbrough Mill and Cannon Hall are closed this afternoon due to the high winds.
A number of trees have fallen and the land is waterlogged.

Wish the weather would change it is nasty. Wind is strong cannot get out and about. Scared of getting blown over .
