^^^^Idiot!

If you think the police get the money from tickets issued, your a clueless moron. It's the government you should be angry with. Oh and don't speed, it's simple. Idiot!
The reason they put cameras on those roads is because someone has either been injured or killed by a SPEEDING driver. Engage your brain next time!

Listen you ignorant shit, I don't believe I said anything about who keeps the money...It would seem its you who haven't a f••k what you are talking about. The requirements for MOBILE speed cameras is two deaths on a road, in a three year period...and they DO NOT have to be speed realated...Speed limits are often these days too low...Barnsley Wakefield Rd is 50 mph after Staincross, it use to be 60 mph, and is a reasonable limit, Woolley Edge is 40mph, no houses, a stupidly low limit. There is no reason why Haigh Hill should be 30mph, she you can drive thru Staincross at 40mph....

What I don't get is why the sit in the same places week after week. Surely the fact that they are "mobile" should mean they could go anywhere at anytime. Instead of sitting in what the public see as money making spots and sitting at places where accidents have already occurred (although I agree they should be there also) but why not have them sat near busy roads when schools are turning out etc.? Makes no sense to me to have them sat in the same spots and especially when they sit on roads literally metres from fixed speed cameras! A waste of time and money surely?
