Plans For Bedsits In Working Men's Club

THE FUNCTION room of a working men's club could be converted into bedsits.

Planning application is being sought to use the function room of Middlecliff Working Men's Club at Little Houghton as a living space with eight bedrooms and a communal lounge.

Each bedroom wold have an ensuite and small kitchen area.

The club would remain open with the residents accessing their properties via a hall from the main entrance.

This' exactly the kind of thing that someone would take umbrage to.. accommodation inside/adjoining an establishment that sells alcohol. Heaven forbid. I was merely jesting, no offence intended..

so if they can do this to a club y dont they do to pubs that have shut dawn ib stead of pulling them dawn
