I think they only put them on roads that make the most money.

The roads that make the most money are clearly the roads with the most speeding drivers, therefore need to be on those roads. Think about it!!!

P . . . Of course they are on the roads that make most money you nob end . They make money because people are persistently speeding upon those roads , hence the need for a camera , not much point financially or logistically putting a camera on a road that probably won't get anyone speed on it . Wrap your head round it and accept they only make money when people exceed the limit . It's in the drivers hands to speed or not .

Sorry for my punctuation, just so frustrating!

Again I reiterate . . . It's up to the drivers not to exceed the limit put in front of them . If everyone stayed within the limit no one could moan about money making . If you get a fine . If you get points . If you have to go on a speed awareness course . It's because you have been a naughty little monkey . Accept it .

AFAIK they can use them where two incididents/people have died or been seriously injured and can fit fixed cameras where it has been four people/incidents.

Might be wrong of course…

Barry b. My comment was to do with the first comment you nob end. Of course they put them where people speed. The problem is that they never catch the idiots causing problems on other roads like Racecommon road , just the unsuspecting driver coming out of a 40 mph into a 30 mph.

Well you are right there barry but they put resources on the roads over Christmas whilst there getting folk speeding around, There was 4 car breakings around old town.. When they first came to the crimescene of the first car He was parked up the road and turned left as the police got outta the car they said we can't pursue him he could of gone anywhere it's an absolute joke! Then when the cars were retrieved they had to pay 700 pound for them back so why do they have to pay the police should have for not doing there job right! So that's 700 from two cars then what will the others of had to pay then.. Stop actual crime fair enough through the days do speed checks I've no problem at all but until people's homes are safe please get priorities right
