A COMPANY who worked on the set of the famous Pirates Of The Carribbean movie are now putting the finishing touches to the revamped Metrodome waterpark.

3D Creations have also designed sets and creative backdrops for a list of big star names including David Blaine, West Life, Blur, Iron Maiden and Robbie Williams.

Now, they are giving the new flumes at the Metrodome an entire new look.

A company spokesman said: "After seeing the venue my first thought was; ‘wow; this is a huge building with its own set of challenges’ but ones we are really looking forward to working on.

"We want people to feel like they are walking into a tropical paradise full of adventure.”

Steve Roberts, head of business development at Barnsley Premier Leisure, added: "We wanted an idea that wouldn’t really date and one that inspired fun and excitement."

I am the Marketing Manager at BPL who manage the Metrodome so heavily involved in Calypso Cove.  I can confirm that the prices are Adults £5.50 & Juniors £4.20 and that is for 1 hour 30 minutes!!  We also will have a family ticket price so please look out for more information on our website over the next few weeks!

The images are also computerised but will hope to have some real photos available nearer the opening!

I'd rather swim in a sewer than pay ridiculous prices with a bunch of chavs always interfering.
