Man Sent To Crown Court After Alleged Theft

A STEWARD has denied stealing over £5,000 from a working men's club.

Richard Corke, 36, was sent to Sheffield Crown Court after allegedly stealing £5,249 from Darton Liberal Working Men's Club. He has also denied stealing £1,637 of vodka.

He is set to make his first appearance in court on August 12.

Corke, of Beckbridge Way, Normanton, was granted unconditional bail at Barnsley Magistrates' Court.

all committee men who flounder and steal from wmc..s. should be jailed. too many have stole from clubs and had the clubs closed. bring them all to task. investigate them. find out where the money has gone. take a look at the latest casualty at athersley. fint the weasels out. they never worked did these people. they live from clubs like blood sucking leeches from which members paid for via subs.
