According to his brother on Facebook he has a broken back and a broken leg, not sure how bad the back injury is yet, another life changing injury caused by someones inattention behind the wheel!

How do you know it wasnt the bikers fault???? Why automatically blame the driver? Some people on bikes are just as ignorant and as irrersponsible as some car drivers! Ive seen some right twats on bikes pulling out on people because they think they can... And some car drivers are just as bad! So before pointing the finger at the car driver.. Wait for the facts

Absolutely.. Sometimes bikers need to "think car" and stop over taking and sitting on your blind spot trying to over take, doing ridiculous speeds like 110! Thank goodness the biker wasn't hurt though irrespective of the fault.

looking at the pic and the fact it's pointing this way and the near side damage, The car was turning right across the junction after travelling from Barnsley into Darfield and the motorcycle coming from Doncaster towards Barnsley was not seen.

The 50 MPH limit is right for the road but it needs to be enforced as it is ignored by many / most.

Just to let you all know, my brother his having his operation as we speak now, will be in a coma for a few days after, also we have had confirmation off the police that then car driver was doing way above the speed limit as he hit my brother and will be getting prosecuted for dangerous driving.
