Two Teenagers To Skydive For Help For Heroes

Thursday March 14 2013

TWO teenagers will jump out of a plane to raise money for injured soldiers.

Sixteen-year-olds Callum McKenzie-Kay and Aaron Betley are set to take part in a skydive for forces charity Help For Heroes later this year.

The pair, who both attend Carlton Community College, will take the plunge on May 19.

Callum, from Mapplewell, said: "I just thought it would be a great way to raise money for a good cause. My brother is in the forces and Aaron's grandad was in the Desert Rats so it's something we believe in."

The pair have already raised more than £1,000 which they hope they can top up to about £10,000 with their jump.

The two teenagers have also attracted Barclays as a corporate sponsor, who are going to match pound-for-pound anything they make up to the value of £3,000.
