March Launch For Made In Hoyland Project
Wednesday January 30 2013
HOYLAND Library will host a series of events in March 2013 with a local theme.
As the film Kes was made in the area, the library wants local people who may have souvenirs and mementoes from the filming to consider lending them for use in displays.
The Made in Hoyland project will be launched on Monday March 11th with a mass giveaway of A Kestrel For a Knave - the book on which Kes was based.
Councillor Jenny Platts, said: “This display is sure to be of great interest both to those who were in the film and to many who haven’t seen it yet!”
If you were involved with the filming of Kes and want to offer anything for display, please contact Hoyland Library on 01226 355832.
