Two Community Grants Up For Grabs
Thursday January 24 2013
TWO successful funding schemes have returned to the region for a second year.
The Young Persons Funding Pot supports youngsters across the borough, and where the money goes is decided by the young people. There's £5,000 available, although it's divided into £300 per group project to make the money spread further.
Similarly, the Berneslai 4U grant offers £300 grants to community and voluntary groups throughout the area.
Last year saw over 120 applications for both funding pots. Successful bids funded a variety of things from a new table tennis table for a youth club, to a shelter for a bowling club.
To apply for both funding pots you can download an application form from here. The deadline for applications is 31st January 2013.
