Housing Plan Submitted For Wombwell

PLANS for 29 houses to be built in front of a primary school have been submitted to the council.

Yorkshire Housing submitted the plans on Wednesday for the construction of 29 rented houses on a patch of green land in front of Darfield Valley Primary School on George Street.

The application includes plans for 13 two-bedroom houses, 13 with three bedrooms and two with four, as detached, semi-detached, four-house terraces and one bungalow.

As with all the new-build schools, they should use some of this land to create safe drop off and collection points for the parents of the kids...the road around the school, like so many others, is dangerous and sometimes impossible to pass through.

thats what happens = another FLAT playing field left to rot - then when everyone is sick of seeing it like that - houses get built on it - bet thats what will happen to Foulstone Playing Fields ; sorry people - nowhere to play in Darfield - Olympic Legacy and Paralympic legacy my Jim Royal - not in South Yorkshire pal !!!!
