POLICE are searching for some of Barnsley's most profilic graffiti taggers who have vandalised several locations in the last year.

Officers have released the photos of the 'tags' in the hope that members of the public can help identify the culprits.

Chief Inspector Colin McFarlane said: “We know antisocial behaviour including vandalism and criminal damage can have an impact on how safe and secure people feel.

"We are looking for the public’s help in identifying these graffiti taggers who blight our communities.”

A quarter of residents surveyed said that vandalism and graffiti should be one of the police's top five priorities.

If anyone has information call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote the reference number for the tag.

What a totally irresponsible thing to post. We are a community news page and support all police investigations. This is a crime that is a blight on our area. You might think it's amusing but I can assure you that many members of the society do not. All too many people 'don't grass' and it's to the detriment of our community. Very short sighted indeed and a totally disappointing attitude.
