Helicopter Helps Catch 'Ramming' Culprits

THE OCCUPANTS of a van which rammed a police car in Royston were tracked down by the police helicopter.
The helicopter, SY99, was called out at 11.30pm on Thursday after a report that a van had made off from the officers on the ground.
The van rammed the police vehicles and drove off, with the occupants abandoning it.
They were detained after a foot chase where officers were directed to their location from the air crew.
