More Tests Needed In Coroner's Investigation

MORE forensic tests will be carried out after the body of a woman was exhumed from a Silkstone graveyard on Friday.

South Yorkshire police say the body of a local woman in her 30s - who has not been identified out of respect for her family - was exhumed overnight on Thursday.

Detective Superintendent Dave Barraclough said: "The post mortem was undertaken in Sheffield today. Further forensics results are required."

South Yorkshire Police were instructed by the coroner to exhume the body of a woman buried in the graveyard at All Saints and St James Church, Silkstone.

It is part of an ongoing investigation to establish the cause of death of the woman who died in 2011.

I personally don't think that this needs to be broadcast on here, regardless of whether it states her name or not. It's not relevant news to anyone except her loved ones. My thoughts go out to her family and friends that they are having to go through this xx

it may not seem relevant at the minute. however, they dont exhume bodies for no reason, theres obviously some suspicion surrounding this poor womans death so it needs to be investigated. now im not going to speculate on the reasons for suspicion, but if there was foul play involved then if its not investigated it could be one of our loved ones or even one of us! would it be so irrelevant then?? or would you want answers?......just saying.

I said it's not relevant to be broadcast on here, not relevant all together. Of course it's important, just not important for every tom dick and harry to be nosy-ing at and speculating about! I think you misread what I wrote
