Town Hall Flag At Half Mast For Soldier

THE UNION flag is flying at half mast on the town hall in memory of a fallen soldier.
It is to pay respects to Sgt Gareth Thursby who was killed in Afghanistan last month.
His funeral is being held today in Skipton. He was serving with the 3rd Battalion (The Duke of Wellington's) The Yorkshire Regiment.
