Thurnscoe Man Charged With Attempted Murder

A SECOND Thurnscoe man who has been charged with attempted murder has been named by police.
Stephen Barry Rodgers, 29, was charged with attempted murder and robbery on Saturday in relation to the shooting of Tyrone Woodhead, 42, in Wath back in September.
Mr Rodgers appeared at Rotherham Magistrates court on Monday where he was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court next week.
A second local man, Nathan Wingfield, 22, was charged with attempted murder in September.
