A MAN was arrested yesterday as part of a shooting investigation after a manhunt that started in Thurnscoe.

Officers flocked to the village on Thursday (October 18) to gather intelligence on the local man who was wanted in connection with a shooting.

It was part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting of Tyrone Woodhead in Wath-upon-Dearne on Thursday, 20 September.

A spokesman said: "South Yorkshire Police were continuing their enquiries in Thurnscoe and the wider Barnsley area.

Sorry to be a little critical 123but I think I can use your posting to help youngsters around the town.

The use of "your" in your posting should have been you're (short for you are) . Your means "belonging to you"

Hope you don't mind
