Thursday October 18 2012
A MILLHOUSE Green mother has spoken out after her teenage son was shot while waiting for the school bus.
Nathan Meadowcroft, 15, was hit by a BB gun pellet fired from a passing car while he was standing at a bus stop on Manchester Road, close to the junction with Royd Lane.
Mum Julie Meadowcroft said: "There are a lot of kids from here all the way to the school who catch the bus. He's one of the taller kids, it could've hit someone in the eye."
Nathan suffered a stinging pain and bruising to his leg.
Police are investigating.
